Mt Hope Foods - Cottonwood

The restaurant has a small selection of products, but everything appeared very fresh and was reasonably priced for organic items. The presentation was beautiful, with delicious flavors and a variety of items such as dried beans. Conveniently located in Cottonwood, it would be a regular shopping spot for me if I lived closer. I purchased some unique varieties of beans, as well as some tasty vegan, gluten-free, and refined sugar-free cookies, along with a few other items. This review was updated on April 25, 2022.

Mt. Hope is a fantastic gem in Cottonwood. While it may be smaller than New Frontiers in Sedona and Prescott, I can still find a lot of my favorite food there. The products are organic and many are sourced locally. The prices are unbeatable, I don't know how they manage it. They may not offer fresh meat or a deli section, but they have a great bakery (with delicious pies), a frozen section, a dairy section, and supplements. The staff is friendly and I always enjoy shopping there.

When speaking with the owner, they initially seemed confused about the purpose of my visit and did not seem familiar with Happy Cow. However, after a bit of explanation, they quickly grasped the concept and were very accommodating. The other staff members were also friendly and helpful. I appreciated that they offered sugar-free and ginger beer options, as I have a preference for ginger beer but avoid refined sugar. Additionally, they had a wide selection of vitamins and supplements available, as well as a well-organized bulk material aisle. Customers can easily find what they need at this establishment.

Vegan options a little expensive, but nice little load

Mt. hope is a great foundation in cottonwood. it is much smaller than new frontiers in sedona and prescott, but I am still able to find many of my food there. the products are organic and much of it is local. the producer prices are incredible, I'm not sure how they do it. they do not have fresh meat or deli section, but they have a large shaking (with good pie,) a frozen section, an animal section and supplement. the staff is friendly and I am glad to shop there.
