Crazy Bear Hunting Lodge

We frequently visit this restaurant from Kingfisher for Saturday lunch. We really enjoy the new menu. We attempted to dine here last weekend, but it was too cold outside. Unfortunately, our small dog is not permitted indoors. We suggest making the small enclosed room at the end of the bar dog-friendly. We hope this issue can be resolved.

The food at this restaurant was of poor quality. The children's pizza tasted like a cheap frozen brand, and the adult meals were not much better - the burger was overcooked and rubbery. The interior of the place was nice, but we sat outside where the tables and chairs looked dirty and hadn't been cleaned in a while. Some tables were left uncleared with dishes from previous diners. Overall, the food was overpriced and of poor quality.

During our stay at the holiday park, we encountered several issues. The management worked to resolve our problems and provided us with vouchers to dine at the on-site restaurant. We decided to have breakfast there on Saturday and found ourselves as the only guests, as they had just reopened for breakfast service. Margaret took excellent care of us, providing great service and making us feel welcome. The breakfast was delicious, hot, and served with plenty of tea and coffee. The only drawback was that the interior of the restaurant did not look very inviting, and we likely wouldn't have eaten there if it weren't for the complimentary vouchers. Overall, we had a pleasant experience thanks to Margaret's hospitality.

Very expensive pizzas that are the cheap frozen ones you get out of Iceland. The adult cheese burger £10) is exactly the same as the Children's cheese burger £5) which is of a poor standard and is certainly not fresh or homemade, I'd put good money on it being frozen from a supermarket. The chips are of similar quality.

Called for a meal to take advantage of the eat in scheme. Enjoyed our meal and special thanks to Matt who met us at the door, took details and looked after us.
