Pita Mediterranean Street Food

This used to be my favorite restaurant, and I would visit regularly. The food was good, the service was acceptable, and the prices were reasonable. However, I've noticed a decline in both food quality and service lately. I used to really enjoy the gyro dish, but recently the rice has become tasteless and even when I order extra meat, I barely get any. Often, the extra items I paid for are simply forgotten. I stopped ordering extra feta because it never makes it into the bowl. Tonight, I ordered a gyro, but once again, the extras I paid for were missing, and the meat was overcooked to the point where it felt like I was biting into something tough. I ended up having to throw away more than half of the meat because it was impossible to chew. Now, I'm on the hunt for a new favorite restaurant.

"Let’s talk about the customer service—or the lack thereof. When I walked in, there was no one available to assist me, and I noticed that this was the same experience another customer had. She even asked me if anyone had spoken to me, and I had to say no. I found it amusing at first, but ultimately, it’s quite concerning. Now, onto the food. It was bland, and the bowl I ordered was more appropriate for a toddler than an adult. I felt ridiculous paying full price for what turned out to be a child-sized meal. Even after ordering additional protein (3 extra shrimp for $6), I still left feeling unsatisfied. My daughter ordered the chicken and found it to be bland and dry as well. While it looked nice, the flavors just were not there. I hesitated to voice my concerns because the staff was in the dining area, laughing and enjoying themselves. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning, and I don’t recommend that you go either."

If you're in need of a casual lunch break and want to switch things up from places like Chipotle, this is a solid choice. What’s even better is that this is the only fast casual restaurant I’ve found that offers fresh grilled vegetables instead of fries at no extra cost. These veggies are seasoned with fry seasoning, making them a healthy alternative to typical fried options. I’d recommend this spot for anyone seeking a tasty, health-conscious lunch. Pros: Fluffy pita, delicious vegetable side option at no extra charge, daily specials. Cons: Minimal fillings, styrofoam takeout boxes, small dive sizes.

I really wanted to love this place as much as I love Mediterranean food, but the service left much to wish. I haven't been recognized for almost 10 minutes after I got in. There were 2 workers on the grill working hard on orders. Finally, a third worker came to the register to ask if I had been helped. I let them know that I had ordered mailmates to whom she replied, oh they work on it that she disappeared into her back. Unlike probably the most important element, the food was well prepared and had a good taste. The most important element was a beef gyro wrap, and it was terrible. The meat was boiled to small, coal-like pieces. I had jumped on the highway, or I would have returned it. Was it because it was at 8:00 on Friday night and close it at 9:00? The dining area might have 3 tables. I hope things improve.

Had a great lunch! Very fresh tasting and quickly prepared! Also, the staff was very friendly and kind. I will definitely be back!
