If you're a fan of the Dukes of Hazzard, you have to visit this spot! It's a significant piece of TV show history, and dining here feels like you're sitting down with Uncle Jesse— the food is incredible. Be sure to try the banana pudding; it's a must! The depot was actually used for filming the Dukes in Covington, and now you can walk around, relax, and explore the cargo depot area, which has a vibe similar to The Boar's Nest. There are even two old passenger cars and a caboose on the tracks in the back that have been transformed into private banquet spaces, which you can rent for events or parties. With the recent celebration of 40 years of the Dukes of Hazzard, you can say you dined in the depot where cast members used to enjoy meals. Yippee!
Great selection at the buffet and our waitress was very good at her job. Ask for a tour of the old train cars!
We recently relocated from New York and were in search of a great dinner. The food exceeded our expectations, and the staff was outstanding. They were incredibly friendly and attentive. Our server, Veronica, was fantastic—she engaged with our children and provided us with impeccable service. We will certainly return! The food was delicious, and the fried green tomatoes were a highlight.
Stopped at this place while eating out of town and I loved it! Great country food with every kind of comfort food you could imagine. The staff is friendly greeting you with a smile and some genuine southern hospitality. If I ever return this way I will definitely be stopping here to eat. Prices were awesome as well!
