Gaia Steakhouse - Cozumel

I enjoyed a stellar dining experience here for a dinner date. This is definitely the place to go if you want to impress or be impressed. Everything was perfect from the cocktails to the crab cake appetizer, to my steak which was perfectly cooked to my preferred temperature and flavorfully seasoned. Our server was friendly, attentive, and a wonderful host. In fact, everyone on staff was friendly. I loved loved loved the mellow, soulful background music that matched the warm, sexy aesthetic of the restaurant’s interior design. The only thing that was strange to me was that we were the only customers there on a Friday night at peak dinner time. I have no idea why that is; maybe it’s the exterior of the restaurant which looks a bit nondescript with its dark tinted windows. I don’t think the good word about Gaia has gotten out yet and I really want this restaurant to do well and this is why I’m posting a review, which I generally don’t do. I can’t wait to return for happy hour or another decadent dinner. There are many price points for every budget, but the food, service, and vibe are top notch!

If you are looking for a restaurant to celebrate your birthday. I high recommend checking this place out. There is street parking available. The octopus appetizer was delicious. Our server recommended the tiger Lilly as a specialty drink and it was . The ambiance is upper scale with a refreshing vibe.

I Went to the steakhouse as soon as they opened. Nice vibe, aesthetics, and ambiance. Great selection of steaks for our party of six. The Soft Burrata Salad, with its delicious tomatoes, was a standout. My daughter loved the cotton candy with its cute presentation. I highly recommend the lamb chops (six served), NY strip, and Filet Mignon. All sides are shareable. The only downside was the lengthy wait time to be served.

The best tomahawk steak and lamb chops I’ve ever had. Side salad, mushroom, chimmichurri and spinach were also amazing. Service is top notch. Very friendly and courteous. Crème brûlée completed the experience with 5+ stars and I could not resist the second desert. I wish I could come back often but I was traveling for two days and I spent both my dinner times here.

Lynn was very nice she makes us want to come back and we will. Next time we come back we will bring our son to meet her she is so nice. The food was so good and the drinks were excellent. We will definitely come back. I highly recommend Gaia and Lynn thanks for everything
