Synge Byrne Deli Rushmere - Craigavon

I would like to share my first experience with Synge &Byrne in rushmere. I visited restaurant on Saturday and was so warm welcomed at the door. Restaurant was very busy but service was very professional and outstanding. Myself and my husband weren't sure what to choose from menu but the girl(dark hair,bob cut style) behind the counter suggested few options and we were delighted coz food was very good. Food was fresh, hot, well prepared and th girl who brought food for us was high pregnant but extremely pleasant and with manners. We will definitely come back.

Very limited choice at start of lunchtime no plain chicken for sandwiches and none being made. Lady almost whispered when she spoke could barely hear anything. I ordered a tuna melt and the tuna was bone dry and the cheese still unmelted. When I was given my knife and fork there was a hair on it. Lastly my aunt and I shared a tray bake which looked and tasted s couple of weeks old. I've never had an issue with O'Briens always go there but it was dirty today with poor service. Also 3 bottles of chemicals sitting out unattended. This is very dangerous with young children around.

First visit here on Sunday afternoon, after a trip to the Rushmere shopping centre for first time in about a year. Think this wee place is new?. It looked busy, always a good sign in my book so thought we'd try it. Certainy wasn't disappointed. We were just looking something to tie us over until dinner. After much deliberation over the selection of sweet stuff on display we opted for a rocky road, flakemeal shortbread and 2 lattes. The coffee's were perfect and the buns as delicious as they looked, definitely hit the spot. To top it all off the staff were so so nice, and they never seemed to stop. We could only see 2-3 staff on our visit, for such a busy wee spot. A bubbly young boy who took our order and made our coffee's, a young girl carrying dishes from out the back, and a girl with dark hair who was serving sandwiches, taking food to customers, cleaning tables and all the while still managing to greet customers coming in and thanking the ones going out. Not often ive gotten a hello how are yous or thanks very much folks in a coffee shop! If this place IS new, with great coffee/food and great staff like that this wee place will do well. Definitely worth a return visit.

Was in this morning to meet a friend. Staff absolutely delightful, so friendly and helpful. So refreshing. Food and coffee lovely. I'll defo be back.
