Lidia's Cuban Kitchen - Cranford

I went to Lidias for dinner with my family last night. I was amazed! We had the sample removers that my two little children LOVED. They liked every single sample (they are usually very picky). The ducks were a very generous part, but the best was the presentation of the desserts! We ordered Churros w/ Eistres Leches. The service was EXCELLENT, our waitress was very attentive and friendly.

We wanted a nice lunch last Saturday 3/2 and unfortunately we remained very unsatisfactory. I usually don't write reviews, but on this I had to write our experience. Had lunch for a family of 7 ... the rock insert was raw and had no taste, the rice was not done, the soup was cold, the pig pieces had no taste and the onions that the cooking points on the food were frozen! The plants are not fresh, they are also frozen! You would think that for the Orice area and after $150 we would? ve got a good meal, but no, we went and had to leave the food on the table. Trust me, I love Cuban cuisine, but this is not the place to go. Too expensive and without taste!

Was concerned about the authenticity of Cuban cuisine, but ended quite pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere and music to the core Cuban. With our luck, our waitress was Cuban origin and that is when the party began. Thank you. Tina, as all your recommendations were on the point. Ralph the owner makes it a point to meet his guests and welcome to ensure the satisfaction of the guests. BYO makes this place more desirable as your invoice is added. The prices are able to look at. It is a must to go, excellent place to bring your 1st date when you impress with the true meaning of Cuban cuisine. Thumbs-up Ralph, you made it super Congratulations!

I had visited this place a few years ago and was disappointed in the food. Enough to avoid coming back for a few years. I just went back this past weekend and the food was amazing and the service was great. I'm extremely happy with the overall experience and I'll definitely be going back very soon.
