Írjon visszajelzéstI found the fried calamari to be a bit too chewy for my liking. The fresh salad was nice, and we really enjoyed the broiled halibut and shrimp-scallop combo. We've been there before and will definitely continue to go back.
From what I've heard, Marino's has been a staple restaurant for many years. It could use some updates, though. The only bathroom is located in the basement; while it was clean, it did have that musty basement smell. However, the food was truly excellent. I started with the crab bisque, which was a bit salty for my taste but was packed with crab and had a wonderfully smooth texture. We also shared a calamari appetizer, which was quite good. For the main course, two of us had the shrimp fra Diavolo. The sauce was thick and flavorful with just the right amount of heat, and the shrimp was outstanding. This was the first time I encountered a dish where the shrimp tails were removed, which really shows attention to detail. For dessert, we enjoyed treats sourced from a bakery rather than mass-produced items. I would definitely return again.
This is a fantastic spot for a seafood dinner in Cranford, just minutes away from the train station and downtown.
Food was wonderful! 5 in our party ordered 5 different things and they were all amazing! Old style atmosphere, lovely service. So very old that the bathroom is in the basement, so NOT HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE even for those who walk with assistance. There'sno way they could improve that either. If you're HANDICAPPED, order take out, because it's wonderful food. Otherwise, absolutelyperfect!
