Big Doug’s Bbq - Creede

We've dined here for three consecutive days! On the first day, we had pork and ribs, and on the second and third days, we enjoyed the brisket banh mi and pulled pork cheesesteak. The food is absolutely EXCEPTIONAL! The combination of the tender, flavorful brisket with cucumber, jalapeño, carrot, and sriracha in the banh mi is simply incredible. The cheesesteak, featuring pulled pork, onion, jalapeño, cheese, and mayo, is pure comfort food. My husband and I can't decide which sandwich we prefer, so we end up sharing both. I genuinely mean it when I say this BBQ is amazing—it's truly in my top two of all time. Having lived 20 years in the Carolinas, nothing compares to Big Doug's Texas BBQ. Don't miss out on this gem!

As a Texas native, I'm a huge fan of barbecue, and this place definitely brings a taste of Texas to the grill. They put in the effort to source their wood all the way from Texas, which really makes a difference in the flavor. While the prices might be a bit higher than what you'd find back home, it's worth it for the quality. Overall, great food!

I visited BBQ by Doug two days in a row and tried everything on the menu. The Texas-style BBQ is absolutely fantastic. The brisket was tender and melted in my mouth, enhanced by a flavorful, crusty pepper dry rub. However, the standout for me was the Banh Mi Sandwich. A good Banh Mi is one of my all-time favorite sandwiches, and Doug's version is one of the best I've ever tasted. This place is definitely a must-try in Creede!

The Banh Mi was amazing!! Brisket is fantastic and so are the charro beans!! If I’m through here again will definitely eat here. Staff is super friendly!!
