I was in need of a birthday cake, and this bakery was able to fulfill my request. The decoration was just what I wanted, and the cake was ready on time. However, I did have an issue with the flavor. The cake was quite bland and very dry. I’m not sure if giving just two days' notice was too short a time frame. Additionally, the frosting felt a bit heavy.

Our wedding cake was both beautiful and delicious. This bakery was a pleasure to work with! They delivered the cake promptly from Crown Point to Michigan City and offered the most affordable catering options.

They consistently exceed my expectations, even with last-minute orders. The cake cookies are always stunning and scrumptious. I truly enjoy collaborating with them—it's always a delight!

We used Sweet Retreat for our wedding desserts and everyone carved about how delicious the cakes were pops and cupcakes. We had to change wedding plans because of COVID and could not come to a sweet retreat until a week before our wedding. They were able to take our order at short notice and had everything in time to the place. Something about note orders and communication is done by facebook messengers.

Very disappointed as my fiancé and I loved the trial cupcakes we tried for our wedding. Sadly after multiple attempts to contact to place the order for our wedding no one ever returned calls nor messenger messages. Poor customer service. ??
