Hallmark In Croydon

For starters, I ordered prawns and crab, but they only served mini crab cakes without the bread that was described on the menu. Thankfully, the main course was excellent—perfectly cooked brisket. My wife had a bit of trouble with the gluten-free options, but we were able to sort it out eventually. The ambiance was rather dreary. For dessert, I ordered a chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream, but instead, I was served American cheesecake. After some back and forth, the waiter finally brought the correct dessert, making the dining experience a bit more redeeming in the end.

We visited the restaurant on Mother's Day, and the service was top-notch. Upon arrival, each mother was greeted with a plant, which was a lovely touch. The table service was excellent, making it hard for us to complain about the overcooked food. Normally, we would have sent the dishes back, but the staff was so friendly that we decided it was best to remain calm. The meat was cooked to the point where it could be used for shoe repairs—definitely overdone. That said, the waitstaff were among the best we've encountered. Unfortunately, it seems the kitchen staff was having an off day.

I met a friend here for lunch because it's halfway away for both of us. we did not know what to expect and were very pleasantly surprised. it is beautifully decorated, good parking, and eating was excellent for a very good price. we have decided that we will meet again in the future, as it is more beautiful than any other place in the opposite.

Wonderful afternoon tea for my sisters family hen do gathering. We had wonderful service and the afternoon tea was fabulous! Lots of sandwiches with lots of different fillings. Scones and a huge plate full of different cakes to try. The tea was topped up throughout and everyone had a lovely time. Great decor in the restaurant a nice atmosphere and again such fantastic service from our waiter and waitress. I have a milk allergy and they provided soya milk, a plate fill of sandwiches separately and a fruit salad as I couldn't have the cakes I was well looked after.
