Sabor Latino - Crozet

This place is awesome. I discovered a few weeks ago now that sports are ramping back up at Western. This is perfect meal pick up for after practice. Food is outstanding, service is friendly and meals are ready in 10-20 min. Just call on way to pick up kids. We've been trying everything. Tacos, tortas, burritos. All delicious. Huge portions too. Muy bien!

Amazingly delicious and authentic taqueria! Just like south Texas! Great steak tacos, pork tacos and a powerfully HOT taco sauce if you dare to use it. The tomatillo salsa is mild and yet very flavorful as well. We will be beck often. Clean, cheap, fabulous. Don't dress up for dinner. It's relaxed.

Filling food and super fast service. If you're looking for Tex Mex style food loaded down with lettuce and sour cream, this is not going to suit. This is the more authentic Mexican style taquiera where the flavors are found cooked into the meat and accented lightly with the garnish. I ordered take out on a Sunday night, and received my food as ordered within ten minutes. Perfect!

The breakfast plate was so good, I really loved it! For only $7, it was one of my best restaurant breakfast experiences. Super friendly staff, as well.

While driving through Crozet on a weekday, we stopped in the area for lunch, hoping to eat at Crozet Pizza or Fardowners, was we've dined at both in the past and love them... But nothing in Crozet was open on a Monday for lunch (which is RIDICULOUS!!! , so we stopped in here. The girl working the counter was very friendly and helpful. They had an interesting menu (they put hot dogs pieces in their Cubano?!?!? and so we tried a couple items from their menu, like a chicken burrito and a chicken salad. The salad was enjoyable and so was the burrito, but the flavor was bland in the burrito and the rice and refried beans that accompanied it were beyond boring. The place is nice and clean and the restroom was amazingly super-clean. We really wanted to like it, especially since so many have rated it high, but to us, it was nothing more than a typical Mexican joint.
