But the star of the night was the famous original pizza (which we topped with soppresatta). Great ambience for a night out with friends or a date night (would dine outside since it's a little bit loud inside).
I ordered for pick up and maybe that was my mistake. Parking truly sucks here. Even the parking garage across the street was horrible. It's pretty cha-ching and if the taste matched the price it would be fine but, unfortunately it didn't. I think it has potential to be amazing, maybe eating it fresh, but I definitely wouldn't recommend picking it up. It was cold. When I say it was cold, it wasn't as if I had left it out for hours ... when I picked it up, the bottom was literally cold. It was just eh to me. I had to doctor it up and put it in the oven which I think is something I shouldn't have to do but felt that it was necessary to do. I was super excited to try this place but was not impressed.
I really wanted to like this place but I think it’s overhyped and overpriced for the quality. Let’s start with the salad, $15 for four bites is wild. The bread was great on the inside but it was burnt on the outside so some bites were burnt. Same concept with the pizza. The pizza was also really salty. We tried ordering some meat on it paying an extra $6 and barely tasted it. If you’re vegetarian and hipster you’d probably like it tho as it has the vibes and aesthetics. The only reason I’m adding a star is due to our server who was really cool and discounted a pizza from our tab bc we were not pleased. Bless them for at least not giving us a huge rip off that Roberta’s is.
My husband and I ate lunch here during our honeymoon. We got the bread and butter and the bee sting pizza, and it was so delicious and fresh! The staff was friendly and the atmosphere felt intimate.
Best Neapolitan pizza around. Highly recommend the Bee Sting and Margherita pizzas! Their beer selection is small but diverse, and their wine selection was curated and really good.
