Írjon visszajelzéstWe were a party of eight and sat on the terrace to celebrate my mother's birthday. Just a heads up, they don’t offer any birthday desserts here. The restaurant has dim lighting, which creates a nice atmosphere for older crowds, date nights, and smaller groups. I mention this because my teenagers struggled a bit to choose their meals. I really love the wings, shrimp, crab nachos, and shrimp cakes—they're all delicious! I had previously only done takeout, so this visit was fantastic for dining in. The service was just as impressive as the food.
I absolutely love this tavern! It's part of the Shopping Plaza collection and a fantastic spot to shop, dine, catch a movie, or simply people-watch. The tavern has a classic vibe and offers all the beloved staples on its menu. If you enjoy All-American cuisine, you'll be pleased with the great beer selection and spacious bar that perfectly captures the essence of a true bar experience. The place is clean and has a welcoming atmosphere, making it ideal for fun outings with family and friends. Do you like it?
We visited Marlow's Tavern on a Friday evening at 5:00, and we were glad we didn't wait. The New Style Hummus appetizers arrived quickly. For dinner, we ordered the Grilled Atlantic Salmon and the infamous Fish Tacos. As always, the food was excellent, and the service was attentive and friendly. It's one of our favorite spots near The Collections for a quick bite, whether for lunch or dinner.
Nice atmosphere and good food. The fish tacos are amazing and the stacked chicken excellent. Service is a little slow, but at least our server was very pleasant.
I visited this location while on a work trip and was disappointed in my experience. I chose to go to Marlow's because they had an appetizing menu and was near the hotel my colleague and I was staying in. Upon arrival my colleague was told that the wait would be 30 minutes. After waiting almost an hour, we noticed that other patrons who were waiting before and after us had been seated and others had left. My colleague went to the host to understand the delay. We were then informed that the manager had told the host not to sit anyone else. Oddly, we were the only ones not seated and there were at least 8 open tables at the time. My colleague asked for clarity on why and the host just kept repeating that he was told not to sit anyone else. It was in this moment that I realized, no one in the establishment, aside from the host at the time was a person of color. It was becoming evident why we were not being seated. After back and forth, we had finally been told our table was ready. We walked in and was told we were going to be seated outside (although we preferred a indoor seat). The service was not the best as we were asked multiple times by the server if it would be one check or two. Repeatedly, we told her one. I had become uncomfortable as it was evident we were not wanted (I mean, I was told not to be seated and then seated outside near the exit door). The server returned with the check rather quickly, before we had finished eating. In her attempt to had my colleague the check, I handed her the credit card. Her face was in utter confusion to how my Caucasian colleague was not footing the bill. I tipped the waitress simply because, I wanted her to see that we were worth better service than the gratuity I provided with hopes that she would be different in her judgement. I could not confirm if the food was great as my experience was underwhelming. I wish I could recommend Marlow's. Unfortunately, I cannot. I truly hope that this restaurant work on being more inclusive of how they provide service to their patrons regardless of race as I wanted a great experience.
