Pachacutec Grill & Bar - Cusco

Fun restaurant right at the main square. Very casual local food, great pisco mad. Totally great atmosphere

It's right on the main square. You can see the Plaza de Armas. The food was good, the service was good, the view was great.

This place is located on the main square in Cuzco. It is very convenient and easy to reach. We went earlier and was told that it was opened at 17:00, so I don't know if it was open for lunch or not. We had the baked chicken on brochettes with rice and it was very good. The menu has been checked for customers outside before they go inside.

The only thing this place has is its location right at the Plaza de Armes. Yes, it has a beautiful atmosphere, but vice versa, the location and atmosphere makes this a great place for local guides to think their tour groups for dinner 12 to 20 right next to your table. This usually happens at 7 to 7:30 so early. We have two groups of tours, just like we were done. After the groups in our servers were hard to find how they concentrated on the groups. In their defense, before the groups came, the service was good. About the food. Pachacutec focuses on once visitors, and what you get in a tourist trap is mediocre food. We ordered asparagus soup that tasted as if it came from a package, Chile Recoto sub par and Trout. The presentation was better than the taste see photo. The trout was fresh, but the potatoes tasted as immediately... the meals came about $20 for two without drinks. Would I go back? No. Would I recommend this place? Not really, because there are better places to eat in Cusco in the same price range.
