Crunchicken - Cypress

I ordered the original crispy chicken, along with the well-maintained crispy chicken and cheesy garlic. The chicken was extra crispy, which I really enjoyed. However, I found the original crispy chicken to be a bit bland; it just needed a little more salt. It wasn't bad at all, but I'm not sure if I'll come back to this place.

The Korean chicken here is outstanding! I ordered the 17-piece with extra sweet and spicy sauce, along with sweet onion, and the total came to $21. It was delicious! The service was efficient and attentive, even with the large order. Highly recommended!

For lunch, I opted for the fried rice special, which comes with either four wings or boneless chicken. I chose the boneless option to avoid dealing with the bones. A tip: don't miss out on the complimentary daikon (pickled radish). Adding some radishes along with a splash of Sriracha to the fried rice really enhances the flavor and adds a nice kick to balance out the heaviness of the dish. A few notes: the chicken itself wasn't particularly flavorful, but that's something you can adjust based on the sauce you choose. Like with any fried chicken, it's essential to enjoy it while it's fresh. The crispy coating was well-executed, providing a satisfying crunch without being overly light, which can sometimes mean just a hint of panko with no flavor. I did find myself wanting to bite into a piece and pull it apart, but it had enough texture that it didn’t let me do that easily. Overall, it was quite enjoyable, and the complimentary ice cream at the end was a delightful touch. As for the ambiance, the indoor space is nice and clean, though it could use a bit more character to make it feel more inviting.

The fried Chicken Burger is insanely good. About 10 min start to finish. Gotta try me some Alfredo wings next time. Keep up the great work
