Apocalypse Beach Club - Da Nang

One of the best beach front bars with a GREAT happy hour menu! Before, this bar was great, just suffered from a bad smell. After all the reconstruction, this place is one of my favorite bars/clubs. This has 9ne of the best drink menus in town. All drinks have a discount before 6pm. Then, from 3-6pm, there is a 30% discount! Drafts Hoegaarden for about 40k!!!! Best oceanfront view bar in Danang! A wedding was next door.

Update: 5 stars for the awesome night staff DJs. But the food still blech. You know what's apocalyptic? Their food. It's my first time in Da Nang I wanted to enjoy a meal on the beach. I ordered a Pineapple, Lemongrass, Celery Juice that was good. Although my waiter brought it to me thinking it was a Pina Colada. Considering I don't drink, that worried me. In terms of food, the menu is very Westernized. I thought, being in Vietnam, I would start with a Prawn Summer Roll. DO NOT ORDER THAT. I literally had to spit out the food because I couldn't chew through the outside wrap. I've never had a roll like that. It was horrible. The manager came after asking me about the food. Although I didn't say a word, but probably because I barely touched it. He only offered his apology. I decided to come back for the sunset because the staff is friendly the seating by the beach is great. This time I ordered the Homemade Lemonade Mushroom Pizza. During this time, there was a bird show on the beach which was entertaining. My pizza came I was bracing myself for another horrible meal, but the pizza was surprisingly good very cheesy tasty. And the crust was nice crunchy. Their Fruit Plate is always a safe bet. The Panna Cotta Chocolate Tart were also meh. I'm addicted to their Fresh Ginger Tea, though. Overall, I come here for the ambience (they play really good music! to melt in a chair watch the ocean while sipping on a beverage. I'm gonna have to check out the night entertainment some time.

What an awesome place to visit, just about everyday night! Wonderful friendly staff! Great drinks and beer selections. Amazing menu that offers lots of tasty foods, Vietnamese Western! Big portions with great flavor and presentations. Great DJ with wonderful music selection. The nightly Western band was incredible and so professional! Around 10:30 pm they had an amazing fire dance show, so well presented and seriously professionals. I got there around 5 pm for a couple of beers, and next thing I knew it was close to midnight! Yes, it was that much fun! The manager, Laru, went out of his way to mingle with the customers. Even the owner came up to me and introduced himself! This is the place to be everyday and night while in Da Nang! I was very impressed and highly recommend it.
