Cheapsteaks - Dallas

The NY Strip was excellent and cooked to the perfect temperature, making it a great choice for a pre-New Year's Eve dinner. The truffle fries were also delicious. We arrived right at 5 PM when they opened, but the bartender seemed a bit bothered, as if she didn't want to be there. Aside from that, we had a pleasant experience overall.

I had a group of 20 people, and they did an outstanding job accommodating us. The service was the best I've experienced in a long time. The food was fantastic overall. Some friends mentioned that their steak was a bit overcooked, but I had the steak sandwich, and it was excellent.

Always a delight! This place has a fantastic concept for those looking to unwind or enjoy some lively music in Deep Ellum. As a chef, I truly appreciate it. - Chef JV

Great band and live music! Food was good. I wish they had a bigger menu. Overall, would definitely return for the show.

As mentioned in other posts, this isn’t your normal steak restaurant. No cloth napkins or tablecloths, but the steaks are better than some of those restaurants I’ve been to. They even have A1 and Heinz 57 sauces !! on the table for those who might prefer that, but I wouldn’t dare mess with the house seasoning that comes as is from the grill!
