The Great Outdoors - Dallas

If you're ok with paying $10 for a sandwich then this is the place. Nothing out of the ordinary and definitely not a cheap lunch choice. I ordered the chicken croissant but they made it on the counter! That didn't look clean and the soup was reheated in the microwave. I asked for a cup of water and the water was from the sink. They have nice staff but could use an upgrade in clean preparation. Parking is odd too and inside is old looking.

Sandwiches are great. Unfortunately if you?re going through the drive thru, get ready to spend at least 20 minutes there. That?s IF they actually acknowledge you and take your order. It?s been more than one occasion I?ve sat in the drive thru with noresponse and had to go inside to order. It?s really hit or miss if you get a friendly worker there as well.

Great Outdoors never disappoints! My company has used them for catering for lunch multiple times and the boxed lunches are perfect, come with all the goods and Sherry (the store manager I believe) is truly the best. Everyone working at this locationis so courteous and kind, and willing to make any modifications necessary to get your order just right! Bottom line thesandwiches and service are both amazing and if you haven't been yet, it's time to do so!
