Jack's - Dalton

I wanted to order a 3-piece chicken dinner, but it was almost 5:30 on a Saturday afternoon and they hadn't cooked the chicken yet. The cashier made me wait for 5 minutes to check if they had any chicken left. She informed me they only had 2 chicken breasts and 1 wing, and would have to charge me an extra 75 cents for the meal. I questioned why I had to pay extra for something I didn't ask for or want. The cashier insisted it was their policy and the manager said I would have to wait 20 minutes for them to cook more chicken. I decided to leave because I didn't think it was right to pay extra for their lack of preparation. I won't be coming back to this restaurant.

They took my orders on the ride and told me to go up to the door. Wait for over 20 minutes and they served 2 different people behind me. You don't even seem busy. Update: After 25 minutes I decided to see what the stop was. It turned out that they sent me and deleted my order. If I hadn't turned around, I would have been there much longer than the 25 minutes. Luckily I went back and got my food. They even offered a free refill on my drink and left me a cool hair in my burger. Very nice. I wish I could give negative stars.

We had stopped to Jack 's several months back bc service and food were best subpared on a good day. We decided to give them a chance today and get the chicken tender dinner. My word lets me tell you the service was absolutely amazing. Everyone we met today was friendly and full of personality! The young woman who took orders for the ride thru was brilliant, the young man on the drive thru window was so great and helpful, the manager came and spoke to us while we waited and he was also great! Only so extra satisfied with the service, we had best from anywhere in so long! And let me tell you the food! Wooo was so good. More taste than I ever have on Jack 's. The bidders, in-laws, potatoes and gravy, and the cookies were fresh, tasteful and perfectly cooked! Totally recommended, cannot wait to eat there again! Thank you to the crew we met today to be so great!

The Dalton Georgia location never seems to have boiled bones in chicken, no matter what time of the day.. I was there at 1130 a.m. 06/17/22 for 3 chicken breasts, but they only had one. The staff said no one was in the stove. I got crazy. A shift manager who only knows me as a half regular customer came out when I left and asked me what my problem was. I have never disregarded them in any way, even begging them for management. She does a great job, but the chicken problem also happens to other managers. She said a big order just ran out that it would only take 15 minutes to cook more. Most people won't wait 15 minutes. Once this great order has been placed for chicken, more should have been ready to go to the chef immediately. It was lunchtime. I also live about 18 19 miles from this business, I was in the area. So we wished a Jack in Fairmount Ga and Resaca Ga.

So slow! I waited 20 minutes in line and there was hardly anyone else in line. The management at this location needs to get it together. People want to be able to come get breakfast and not have to wait all morning for a biscuit and gravy.
