This special milk fish has the right mix and taste. You have creamy and really lots of pepper. Squeeze the lemon and the good to go. I love Chibog!
Finding a good Filipino restaurant is not as common as you hope in the bay and this place is a jewel. The food was absolutely delicious and the service staff friendly. The restaurant is small, so if you want to eat there, I would recommend getting there a little early. It's worth it! Food: 5/5
Best Filipino food in the bay hands down. No frills, no expensive dishes, portions are generous. I always bring the city of Filipinos and they are always happy. This place is an institution.
The go to silog spot in Daly City, this place gives you big plates! I love how you can mix and match to make your own silog. Service is good once you're inside and seated. The place is always pretty packed especially on the weekends. Tocino/Lechon Combo Silog Plate My go to is always the tocino and lechon plate. The tocino is charred to perfection and the lechon is crunchy. It comes with two eggs and garlic rice. Lumpia Shanghai hot, crispy and juicy inside.Pork Binagoongan delicious! Pork belly, eggplant and tomatoes cooked in shrimp paste.
Chibog is a long time spot for everyone 's Filipino cravings and I can say that it hasn 't changed. Their food is still great along with their customer service. I got the pork sisig with a side of garlic rice and my husband got the chicken silog plate and both tasted GREAT. Of course we also got the shanghai lumpia which completed our meal after every bit LOL. Everything about this place is still giving at home vibes when eating their foods and I know that 's why everyone still comes back. But mind you, we haven 't been here in over like 3 years and one thing that did surprise us was the 'customize order ' they charged us on the bill which is basically a gratuity charge, EVEN though it was ONLY me and my husband. To be honest, I think that it 's UNFAIR that you 're already adding that onto the bill when you 're ONLY catering to TWO people. Don 't get me wrong, it was like a $7 and some change charge, but I would have had left more instead of them ALREADY charging me that gratuity as a CUSTOMIZE ORDER instead of me just tipping them on my own. So that is ONE huge thing to WATCH OUT for cause you 'll literally ask them, 'what is this customize order charge boss? ' and they 'll comfortably say, 'ohh its the gratuity charge. ' Let me tip you the way I want to tip you and heeey, you might have gotten more than $7 bucks from me. My family members are waiters and I know the struggle of getting tips, so I 'm no where near shady when it comes to tipping. Just ask my husband LOL, he can 't staaand when I tip more than the 20%.
