Barn Door Baking Co. Cafe

Chai with the cheese plate was a perfect sized snack. Handful of cheese and apple slices with a small cup of spicy nuts. There's a time and place for muffins bigger than your skull but this cheese plate was perfect for filling me up without putting me to sleep. Staff is lovely. Its a busy place without cozy chairs but good for 15 min sit down.

Two visits so far. I’ve enjoyed my mocha and the atmosphere. I’ve had cookies both times and was a bit disappointed. They look delicious but we’re a bit too dry for me.

The cappuccino was unfortunately a disappointment. It was quite bitter and had very little substance.

We were visiting Damariscotta for several days in late October and found the espresso drinks and excellent baked goods at this cafe. Very friendly spot, people come in to catch up on the local news. My husband was partial to the croissants here, I fell in love with the cinnamon buns, and they also have sandwiches that sound good but we didn't have a chance to try them. There is limited seating you can't count on getting a table, but we usually were lucky. The bookstore there is also particularly nice.
