Bread Basket Cafe Bakery - Danville

I recently had lunch at this restaurant and decided to order their chili, which was their special dish of the day. However, I was very disappointed with the meal as it was extremely watery and tasted like watered-down milk. The only flavor I could taste was an overwhelming amount of cumin. I felt like it was a waste of money, especially since I spent over $40 on the entire meal. Overall, I was very disappointed with my experience.

This restaurant has the best sandwich and salad in town! Their peanut butter pie is simply exceptional!

My partner and I absolutely adore the bread basket at this restaurant. It is truly outstanding. We have enjoyed numerous meals here, both for breakfast and lunch, and I can honestly say that I have never had a dish that wasn't delicious. Some of my favorite breakfast items include the butter pecan waffle and their signature omelette. My partner's personal favorite is the biscuits and gravy. For lunch, I recommend trying their squash bisque or BLTE (bacon, lettuce, tomato, egg, and avocado) sandwich. The tropical berry tea or sangria make for a great pairing with any meal. Their selection of cakes, pies, and cinnamon rolls make for a satisfying dessert. This is a must-visit place!

We never had a bad meal in bread basket. they love the picturesque dinning room and the friendly waiting staff. her ham sandwich with apricot jame is my favorite. they always save space for dessert, because the choice is mouth water. visited a few days ago and got rather small portions of the cake. Hopefully it was just the cake cutter and not a new standard. it was more like a band. still love the place and will return.
