Írjon visszajelzéstThe food was as advertised to be of Jamaican Variety, and I didn't expect to be I n a restaurant with someone Wearing A Weapon.
Nice people, food was great and the place was real clean.
I don't understand why the Lunch menu Burger prices are the same as a Regular menu prices. Most places give you a discount at lunch time.
Omg, the best food I have had in a long time. I had the jalapeno smoked bacon burger with seasoned fries, excellent to say the least, my husband had the NC catfish sandwich with onion rings, the catfish was so moist and the batter was like no other I have ever taste, beautiful golden color as well and the onion rings were fantastic, toped it off with homemade key lime pie which was excellent as well, can't wait to go again
This review ONLY concerns their prices (which is why the review is a neutral 3 stars):We left as soon as we finally realized what the prices were. We had to ask to make sure, because the very pretty menu just has items with small black blocks after them that appear to just be menu item numbers (no signs). At first, it really seemed that the prices weren 't listed, which was worrisome. I finally noticed that some of the numbers repeated and couldn 't be item numbers, and guessed they are actually the prices. But looking at the steak options, I was shocked and even more confused. They have burger meals for 12, which is affordable. But the numbers beside the steak meals were outrageous. 34? 36? I understand Fillet Mignon being pricer, but a New York Strip? An almost 40 Sirloin?Comparatively, other sit down restaurants/steakhouses charge 18 or so for a sirloin meal. After verifying the prices with the waitress who was VERY friendly (but was at the moment dealing with unhappy customers at another table), we quickly left without ordering after excusing ourselves and explaining why. The waitress showed me the burger options when I told her the prices are too high for us, but I told her that we were after steak, but thank you anyway. The prices are likely why there were so few customers in there when we arrived. From the outside, the place looks like another cute little diner in a shopping strip. So naturally, we expected prices to reflect this. However, even being a steakhouse, the prices are far too high. The place doesn 't have the look or feel of an expensive restaurant, so we had no idea. It is a very small space with no ambience, but it 's cute.I can 't share my thoughts on the quality of the food, however, the people who were complaining at the other table had a list of serious complaints, especially about their steaks, and looked very unhappy. I had to interrupt for a moment to ask the waitress my question because she had not been back to our table since seating us. She and the customers seemed pretty flustered. My overall thoughts are this: They need a new location that reflects their upscale pricing, more straightforward prices on their menu, and a new name. The Dining Car suggests a diner, not a steakhouse. We had to figure out on our own (with some trouble) that the place is not what it appears to be. Even if we can afford an expensive dinner at some point, we won 't be returning there.
