My friend got the steak pho broth was amazing and the meat was delicious. My other friend got vermicelli with short rip and shrimp also great. We got the summer roll for the table everything was super fresh and good. Light and flavorful but filling.
I've been stopping by here most Monday evenings for over a year when in Philadelphia and pick up several Banh Mi (Ga, Chay and Thit Nuong) for dinner or to save for school lunches the next few days. Often get a rice, noodle or pho dish as well. Always great food for the price.Vegetarian options: I'm not vegetarian, but I enjoy the selections and can easily go meat free here.
This is where I go when I don't have time to cook Vietnamese food at home. Tasty food and great portions. There's also a decent selection of vegetarian dishes to choose from.Everything I've tried from them has been delicious, but if you're in the mood for phở, I recommend dining in for their Phở Special (P10).
One of the best spots for viet food in town! This place is a small business with a homey atmosphere. No need to wait to be seated, you can walk right in, order, and have a seat and they will bring the food right out to you as it’s ready. I’ve been here plenty of times and have never had a bad experience. The food is always delicious and priced right. How can you beat a $6 banh mi in this day and age?? Generous portions too. Q is the best, he always makes sure everyone is taken care of. Definitely recommend showing some love to this spot!
Pad Thai was greasy, no flavor, no veg except sliced green onion and regular onion. Completely boring and my mouth still feels greasy. Other order was pork with noodles but could not figure out the flavor. Again, boring and lacking so much. For almost $40 we expected more. We would not recommend. But South Gate Korean was outstanding. Their reply is an outright lie. It is on their menu. They just don’t know how to make it. I realize it is Thai and not Vietnamese but it is on their menu under chicken, beef and vegetarian. Why do you put something on your menu if you don’t know how to make it.
