We were there for breakfast and we were kind of happy, my mushroom/feta/spinach plate was tasty and my friend got a plate of poached egg, avo, hash and halloumi.. He ordered mushroom as side, for the price it was only 5-6 mushrooms so he wasn't happy. I was a bit upset with my portion too for the price I was paying for. But overall, it was ok.
Victoria Street in Darlinghurst is a strange combination of businesses that have been there forever (hello Tropicana) and other storefronts that seem to be constantly changing. There are a few higher-end restaurants, quite a few casual places, and a number of in-between. It’s sensational for people watching.
The corn and dill pancakes were delicious a good variety of food on offer for those with the plainer tastebuds, and ones who love flavour. A little squishy with a bigger group, but highly recommend.
Dining at Tiger Bakers is like visiting that one very eccentric relative that we all have. You know the one you haven't seen in awhile, but every time you see them you wonder why you don't visit more often It's a breathe of free air. <br/ <br/ Colourful flowers in old tin cans, wooden furniture throughout, comfy lounges with mismatched cushions and artwork on the ceiling! I love this place! <br/ <br/ I had the Thai Beef Salad with Tomato, Coriander, mint and name dressing $16) which tasted as fantastic as it looks Served in under 15 minutes. <br/ <br/ Throughly enjoyed my dining experience.
The hotcakes with berries were so good they have literally ruined any other pancakes for menothing will ever compare to them, and it sucks because i like all the way in Melbourne!
