Tacky Jacks Fort Morgan

First things that I would like to say is I don’t like leaving bad reviews but today I just had to. First thing is when we told the lady at the front that there was 9 of us going to eat, she was very snobby and rude. And she told us that we couldn’t sit together. So half of my family has to sit across the restaurant from each other, because they were crowded. Then my 2 kids got a kids popcorn shrimp and French fries. As soon as they started eating the shrimp that said that it tasted like chlorine and other chemicals. So I tried the shrimp and indeed it tasted very chemically. So we told our waiter, and he was very understanding and gave them chicken fingers. And finally when we got our ticket we got charged for 2 extra drinks that didn’t order. The food was very overpriced for the size of the portion that your got.. I spent $24 on shrimp and grits. The portion was very small for a meal for an adult. So overall I’m very disappointed in the restaurant and will unfortunately not come here again..

The elevator to the second floor was a nice touch. The restaurant has a typical marina vibe, offering a no-frills experience. I thought the food was excellent, though the service could be a bit slow and there aren't many tables indoors. On a nice day, you can enjoy dining outside, and they provide a large waiting area for guests. My wife and I shared the "Mexican garbage" dish, which I really liked, but my wife felt it could use more meat. My dad ordered a hamburger with two 1/4-pound patties, and he enjoyed it. The fries were served hot. My sister chose something from the kids' menu and ordered shrimp, which she was quite happy with.

The staff was friendly, and the food was tasty. My only complaint would be that the bread served with the Tacky Shrimp resembled days-old playdough. On the other hand, my husband had a po' boy, and the bread for that was exceptional. Given the price and small portion of the Tacky Shrimp, it definitely deserves higher quality bread like the po' boy. Service: Dine-in Meal type: Dinner.

The food is simply amazing! I especially enjoyed the breakfast burrito. The Mexican garbage nachos, firecracker shrimp, and Philly cheese steak are also excellent. The staff are incredibly friendly and professional. I will definitely be returning many times. Service: Takeout Meal type: Dinner
