Filling Station - Davenport

The Burger and fries were absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly, hats off to the kitchen crew. BUT the service could be better, our server Jamie H. rarely checked on our table for more water or to ask about the meal or really anything that a normal server does. Watching the other servers, they seemed to be on the dime, so maybe she was distracted or having an off-day. Overall I recommend The Filling Station if you want a Tasty meal for a decent price.

First time here, love the building a d the atmosphere of the inside. Great food and attentive staff.

Long wait to be seated for lunch while several tables were ready. Waitress was pleasant but no where to be found once we got food. Really neat place. Blooming onion was more comparable to one's I've attempted at home rather than outbacks and the sauce is a complete miss. The tenderloin was way to big, extremely dry, and lacked any seasoning. The bun the tenderloin comes on is even dryer somehow. Dad got the burger and said it was ok.

That was our first time from a suggestion from a friend. The waitress was really sweet and helpful. And the food tasted great. I gotta go back to try the wonton pizza.

We used to live in the area when I went to college and The Filling Station was in our regular rotation of restaurants we frequented back 20 years ago. I'm happy to say that it is still very delicious and that the great food and service hasn't changed at all. The place was packed as I remember it days gone by and of course we ordered the famous pork loin sandwiches along with their chili. Both were absolutely fantastic and just as I remember them. Service was fantastic. You can't go wrong here.
