Casablanca Moroccan Davis, Ca

We were in Davis, and looking for a great restaurant – we found one in Casablanca! The food was exceptional as well as the service. We did a sampling of many items on the menu, including the kefta platter, baba ghanouj, hummus, grape leaves, tabouli, and falafel. We also tried the garlic dip.Every single item was exceptional. The portions were ample, and the food was ready super quickly. We will definitely come back again when we visit Davis, California. Portions.

We had an outstanding experience with the Moroccan cuisine here. The falafel and chicken were cooked fresh right in front of us, and the chicken tagine was exceptional. A big thank you to Karim for the wonderful dinner and excellent service. We will definitely return!

We were the only customers when we arrived, yet it took over an hour for our gyro and plate to be prepared. I noticed they didn't use gloves while handling food, which is concerning. If you're craving Mediterranean cuisine, I recommend going to Nick's downtown instead. If you're just hungry, you can get better and faster service from any other restaurant in the shopping center. I miss Chickpeas; their food was far superior, but unfortunately, they closed down. Overall, the food here was just mediocre.

If you're in Davis, visiting UC Davis, or traveling along Highway 80 and craving delicious food, Casablanca is a must-visit. We thoroughly enjoyed the platters that included inventive salads and perfectly seasoned meats and falafel. The portions are generous, and although there’s a small eating area inside and outside, takeout is also a great option. I do wish they offered a catering menu. The Dolmas are homemade and among the best I’ve ever tasted. The family who runs Casablanca is warm and accommodating. Tucked away in a small mall, there's convenient parking in front, which we appreciated. Although friends recommended Casablanca to us, it feels like a hidden gem for food enthusiasts. Davis doesn't have many options beyond typical student fare, making Casablanca a remarkable find!

Had their Friday couscous and it was very delicious ! Tasted like back home it was loaded with veggies and a large amount of meat so it was very filling! Had enough leftover for the next day. The establishment is really clean and friendly and really low wait time !
