Chuy's Taqueria - Davis

My husband and I happened upon this restaurant spontaneously while out for a bike ride. We decided to try the Friday special, carnitas, and we were pleasantly surprised by how tasty and high-quality the meat was. We didn't have to worry about removing any large pieces of fat or inedible parts. The rice was flavorful and perfectly dry, with separate grains, and the beans were good as well. The dish was garnished with guacamole, lettuce, and a lime wedge, and there was a nice selection of salsas neatly portioned. The waitress even brought us two types of tortillas. The restaurant was clean and we appreciated the sink in the corner for washing hands without having to go to the restroom. Overall, it was a delightful experience that brightened our day. Thank you!

This restaurant is a great choice for Mexican cuisine. The burritos are definitely value for money!

Their carnitas are great and so are the prices. Definitely one of the better taquerias in Davis, I'd recommend for quick lunch.

The restaurant offers a limited menu along with daily specials. I ordered the carnitas plate which came with a generous portion of meat, refried beans, and a side salad.

Our friends enjoy eating here, so we had their food a couple of times when visiting Davis.For me personally, i just don't get the fuzz really. I had better Mexican food on other places.
