London Fish'n Chips - Davis

I had dined at this restaurant a few years ago and was truly impressed by the outstanding food. Unfortunately, after my recent experience, I must say that the quality has significantly declined. My husband and I decided to take home the fried fish and chips, but we were very disappointed. The fish was heavily battered, soggy, and dense—not the light and crispy cod we had hoped for, and it was mostly inedible. It seems that the kitchen staff could use some retraining, as the batter was far too thick and tough, resembling bread rather than a delicate coating. The fries were also disappointing; they were overcooked, greasy, and limp—definitely not appealing. Sadly, I will now be on the lookout for a new place to satisfy my fish and chips cravings.
