During my last visit, the hostess was very kind and suggested a curry dish that turned out to be spot on, served over a bed of rice. The pad Thai is definitely a standout, and the Thai iced tea was among the best I’ve tasted. The hostess even let my date take some roses they had available for me because she said he was sweet.
I visited with three friends I hadn’t seen in a long time, and we were able to relax and chat throughout dinner without feeling rushed by the staff. We started with fresh spring rolls—unfried and perfectly crispy—paired with just the right amount of sauce, which made for a delightful appetizer. We opted for a family-style meal and tried several dishes: a chicken dish with peanut sauce, my all-time favorite curry, a salad, and a pastry stuffed with shark. Everything was served with brown rice instead of the usual white, which was a thoughtful touch since my friends are mindful of their diets. While I’m not a huge fan of brown rice, I appreciate the option. The dishes were all cooked to perfection. The curry had a wonderful flavor and heat that was just right, while the pad thai featured both chicken and shrimp. The chicken with peanut sauce was generously topped with peanuts, adding a nice crunch, and the salad provided a refreshing contrast to the hot dishes. Overall, the prices are quite reasonable, the service is excellent, and the food is delicious. What’s not to love?
