Oceans Restaurant And Bar - Dawlish

Went here for the first time, for 7 nights in August, firstly because we searched high and low for somewhere that had facilities to cater for our family (3 children 5,8 11) and secondly we wanted to be near a beach but most importantly it seemed great value for money. Getting there was really easy, it is in a great location not to far from the motorway but far enough. It's also just round the corner from a sainsbury's super store with a petrol station which was great. The beach is within a 10-15min walk which is gorgeous and has all the usual cafes chip shop pubs and icecream parlours around. The staff were absolutely fantastic from the reception staff when we arrived all the way through to bar staff grounds staff and entertainers. The pitches are all amazing sizes we have an 8 man tent and had loads of room spare, the only thing is it works on a 1st come find your own pitch system, which I really liked because everybody likes different things add in you can be really close to the amenities or right up out the way, the only thing is it gets extremely busy and it is a good sized site and if you have a caravan or trailer there are lots of dead ends which can be challenging when reversing. We stayed up top near the beach part and there was a marquee with a bar there live entertainment nearly every night a burger bar and a field for the kids to play. On the weekend they put entertainment on in the day and they always had security walking round who were fantastic even having time to deal with kids problems and was very approachable. The swimming facilities were amazing indoor and out, the life guards were the best I've seen, most holiday parks they all look like the night before was a really good night and they have no intention of doing anything, but not here they was on it constantly rotating on there radios checking the pool mopping up they was even outside in the rain because people were still in the outdoor pool. There is so much to write but believe me this is a fantastic park, the is play grounds kite fields skate parks, lodges with roof top terraces. Fantastic!

An attractive and stylish holiday park with beautiful landscape. because of the kovid they had to make some great changes from the entertainment to the customers, before booking there frisuren in the salon. this is all in the package at the arrival. the place is well established and during the lockdown time gave people who had no pandemic during the Ploo roll, free plundering away. lady’s Mile staff are very friendly when it comes to sort dinge when they have any problems. we were placed in a beautiful caravan called chestnut 8. when they get it for a tasty bite. the caravan has a double bed, which is literally so soft that they do not want to get up again, especially after a long trip. the single beds are comfortable and the windows are well opened. but the best thing I feel is the terrace doors and balcony. Do you have a balcony on holiday? for me personally it is a very rare experience, but for the extra bit when room. it's worth every penny. I will also point out that the terrace doors make it easier to get in and out when you transport. the only thing I mean was the one of them. the many had a gap it up, which essentially made it almost impossible to cook with. a package of bratkartoffels, which should then have 30 minutes, took an hour and we realized the problem about 40 minutes in. the way to deal with it is to put the rule on the upper level and that should still catch most when the heat exits. a wonderful stay at a place we enjoy and we look forward to coming back!

A beautiful side. the load was very good on camp. the bar was nice and warm. the entertainment was good. the parking space was hard standing and we were satisfied with it. the indoor pool looked fantastic. the only one was the toilet blocks. they could really do with updating.

Great holiday park from luxury lodges too cheap camping spots. My partner and I went for a hot tub lodge. We are pleasantly surprised at the size and quality of the place. The services in the park are great,there is a very expensive shop on site for anything you may have forgotten to bring or get along your way,indoor and outdoor activities along with swimming on indoor and outdoor! Even features a salon and barbers on site. Would definitely stay again.

The location is excellent, just a short walk from the beach. We had a fantastic time at Lady's Mile. The breakfast was a great value for the money, and the restaurant and restrooms were very clean. The pool is a good size and well-maintained. The clubhouse is also tidy, and the staff are friendly. They are doing an outstanding job of adhering to COVID-19 restrictions.
