Terah's Restaurant - DAYBORO

On our Family Sunday adventure we stopped in here for a quick lunch. The young waitresses were lacking enthusiasm and menu knowledge.The food was delicious, especially the calamari, however not polished. Hubby and I both had a steak which weren't cooked to spec and the Sauces weren't reduced and both had a hint or aftertaste of red wine. Lovely setting and environment, could be absolutely amazing.

Relaxed atmosphere, attentive service, scrumptious food which included such choices as Arancini Balls, Deep Fried Camembert and Duck Spring Rolls as well as well selected wines to compliment the dishes. We will definitely return to Terah's.

Daybro is a very quaint interesting little town. There are several cafes and after browsing the Bohemian Decor we were feeling peckish. Deciding to check out all the cafes we set off on foot. The first port of call was Terah's Restaurant/cafe. It is licensed which was a good plus for a Sunday lunch. They have a $15 lunch special and a couple of the dishes tempted us enough to ask for the full menu. The entree selection did it for us. We need look no further. The full menu is comprehensive and offers more steaks than the local butcher, well that maybe a slight exaggeration. There are several very popular 'parmys' with tempting toppers but we couldn't get past the entrees. We ordered 4 entrees, fried Camembert, Aracini balls, stuffed mushrooms and chicken wings. Quite a debate arose over which entree was best and we couldn't eat all we were served. We enjoyed our meal with a very moderately priced bottle of Squealing Pig. Nothing to do next Sunday? Take a drive to Daybro and dine at Terah's.

Popped in while living in the area for some brekkie on a Sunday morning. After initially being told by the teenager greeting customers that they had absolutely no GF options on the menu the manager quickly intervened and assured me they did (just not noted on the menu).Nice big wrap around verandah provides the seating. Bit of a hot spot in the morning. Comfortable and clean.Had my favourite Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. Service was prompt. Dish was nicely presented and eggs poached perfectly. Salmon was too salty for me and the Hollandaise Sauce while creamy lacked any lemony zing. I asked about the Savoury Mince and was told that was GF as well. Might be worth a try if I come back.

Fantastic spot for dinner. Food cooked to perfection & reasonably priced. Friendly & efficient staff. Will be returning here in the future.
