Ordinarie Fare - Dayton

This is the absolute best vegan food I have ever eaten! I can't stop thinking about the tahini cookies. I wanted to give a 5-star review, but it seems the restaurant only accepts fully vegan reviews. Regardless, this place is a perfect 10 out of 5!

I have been a fan of Katie's creations since I first discovered her online, and I have followed her journey from farmers markets to her very own storefront. Everything she makes is not only delicious, but also vegan. Katie is incredibly creative and uses fresh ingredients that are nourishing for the body. She offers a variety of treats such as pop tarts, bars, cheesecakes, and scones, with rotating flavors and some staple items always available. In addition to these treats, she also serves fresh bowls, smoothies, and has special offerings on Fridays and Saturdays. If you are in the area, you must give her delicious creations a try!

I was visiting from out of town and found this restaurant to be the perfect spot for a takeout lunch! The bowls and salads were fantastic!

*UPDATED REVIEW 2/13/2022* I’ve now been a subscriber to Ordinarie Fare’s meal subscription service for 6 months, and I’ve tried several menu variations. You pay $22 every 2 weeks as a ‘Fare Friend’, and it usually includes one entree and one treat, with options to add extras. Everything so far has been gluten-free AND vegan. I would definitely recommend! The grain bowls and seasonal/ holiday specials are my favorite. The bowls are delicious and full of flavor, with lots of raw options. See my pics . The holiday specials Raw Pumpkin Cheesecake! Grain-free Apple Pie! Raw Tiramisu Bars! are especially good. Katie is really intentional about the ingredients she uses, which is amazing. Original 2021 review: I found Ordinarie Fare’s granola at my local juice shop Power Plant and picked up a bag of the Strawberry Chip granola. YUM!! So tasty, and full of good-for-you ingredients. They are at the Oakwood Farmers Market on Saturdays from June through October, and they usually post a schedule and menu on social media @ordinariefare . Found some of their energy balsa at local cadre St. Anne the Tart and they are delicious. Her items online look great. Excited to try more.
