Hog Heaven B-q - Daytona Beach

Had today for Mother’s Day was not impressed very disappointed. Strouts is not good won’t be back. Garlic bread was not garlic bread it was big loafs, bunch of fatty meat, sides were awful the fries are potato fries that literally came out like big potatoes, the only thing that was decent was are cheese sticks for appetizers. This place has really went downhill.

Very good food. Only reason we gave it a 4 star was service was a little slow. We sat at our table for 10 minutes before anyone greeted us.

The servers were nice but the food was pretty terrible. Two loaded potatoes with brisket and it looked unappetizing. The fried pickles were bad as well. The batter and the grease are clearly old. The brisket was left in huge chunks and they used a queso sauce. They forgot the fries we ordered so I can’t comment on how they tasted. The toast was also disappointing.I’m so disappointed as the menu said the home of the Killer Potato. I was so excited but the stuffed potato didn’t taste good. The people working there were very friendly though. Very nice servers, disappointing food.

Pulled pork and BBQ chicken was juicy and full of flavor, 4 different BBQ sauces to choose from, sliced brisket was thick cut and a bit tough, ribs were really good but meat was sparce. Potatoe salad has onions and harder side of potatoes but some prefer that. Overall place was a good stop service was also really good, smiling friendly staff!!!

Not sure if management changed. It definitely tastes like maybe they have a new Grillmaster. Baked beans now have pull pork in them. Been eating there for a 8 years, on every vacation from Georgia, minus covid. I will give them another shot tho.
