Hickok's Tavern - Deadwood

This pizza was fantastic! I was extremely pleased with it, and I can’t wait to come back for more.

On top of that, there are no restaurants open late at night, unless you’re okay with getting pizza from Marco’s, which is much better than the frozen pizza you’d find at the casino down the road. They pulled out a freezer like the ones you see in grocery stores, charging $30 for something you could get for $5. If you stay at the Hickok, you will likely be disappointed when you see the hotel. It’s not the same anymore, and as my husband said, it resembles a Motel 6. While the staff is nice, the hotel itself leaves a lot to be desired.

Hickok’s Tavern was disappointing. There was one nice waitress and delicious pizza. However, the $20 nachos were terrible, served with plastic plates with undrinkable water. We would not go back.

Dog friendly cafe area on the patio. Our lunch was delicious and they brought the dogs a fresh bowl of water. Win win!
