Írjon visszajelzéstI recently held my husband's 50th Birthday party at Rustique on Saturday night, with a total of 40 guests. The food was excellent and I couldn't find a fault with it. The menu had a great selection and the presentation of the dishes was impeccable. Our waiter, Cameron, provided exceptional service and was very professional. The manager, Anita, was also wonderful and made sure everything was to my satisfaction. This was the second event I've hosted at Rustique and I highly recommend it for any function, as well as for casual lunch or dinner. Thanks to the team at Rustique, especially Cameron and Anita, for giving us a fantastic night and making my husband's birthday celebration memorable. - Kim.
We recently had our company's Christmas Function at Rustique and were incredibly impressed by the exceptional service provided by the staff. Anita stood out with her prompt service, warm demeanor, and professionalism. She, along with waiters Cameron and Jacqulin, took excellent care of our group of 40+ guests. Modern Australian kitchen. clean and friendly. large menu selection. family-friendly. a good selection of craftsmen. the prices range from 20-$50 for a main thing. child-friendly: good place for a child's birthday party. parking: many parking spaces.
Place has changed a bit. I use to rate it 5 stars for the steak . I'm a steak man, I come specifically for steak.Kids meals are beautiful, no complaints. No constructive criticism about other meals.Had to return 2 meals tonight, but not the first time I raised this issue with the kitchen. Asked for medium rare rib eye got medium , which I'd be fine with, but also asked for medium porterhouse, got well done. Not acceptable when paying $40+.Probably not a good idea to finish steaks in an oven. They require a pan or grill and observation by the chefs. You lose that nice crisp and seared outside and end up cooking all the insides.The quality of the meat has changed. No longer sure its Black Angus, change of supplier? Blander taste, almost coles quality. Coles Finest beef brand beats it by a long shot. Would recommend going back to previous supplier.For $40 $47 a steak +15% public holiday surcharge , expect higher quality rather pay more for a meal than downgrade quality to cover costs of staff and business if that's an option with inflation? But quality supplier is key regardless.Staff though have always been nice. Couple recommendations from tonight's experience though would be to check on diners a few mins into a meal to make sure everything is OK, instead of having the diner feel awkward putting hands up to try get attention. Happened second time when new meals came out also, no one came to double check if the steaks were cooked right? Mine was still medium and not medium rare, but the other was ok, so it passed. But that's feedback you need from front of house to back of house so the head chef can kick some butt it's your business.On payment, wasn't asked if everything was sorted and if we had feedback about the meals. No follow up. Unfortunately that's why I posted here.You guys have an awesome restaurant. Few things need work in the kitchen recently but I'm sure its temporary.Dated Thursday 22/09/22Kid friendliness: Kids welcome here. Nice little kids playground. Kids always love it. Kids meals are good too and they have ice cream and such too.Parking: Loads of parking. Plenty disabled parking and easy access to the restaurant. No stairs.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs. Easy access.
