Steak 'n Shake - DeKalb

I loved steak n shake. it was expensive, but the coupons on each acknowledge made it worth getting back again and again. a few months ago they stopped making coupons, and now I can't afford to eat their sandwiches. it's really a scandal, as the Wisconsin double steakburger has been a favorite of me since the high school.

I thought I wouldn't get a hamburger a little bit on a lunch roll...was okay, but I won't get it first.

I had a pleasant experience at this location came in for a bite order a number three got my food hot, and Staff was polite.

Inside dining is showing no signs of reopening and the place was a ghost town on a Sunday afternoon. I don't think this spells a good future for this location.Food is what you'd expect though so if you like to drive thru everything is fine.

Double cheeseburger was delicious french fries were fresh and hot,my drink had more ice than I like but there's always refills, would have been nice to go indoors to eat but drive up is all they have right now
