Bird Rock Coffee Roasters - DEL MAR

Went there on a Sunday at 1 pm. I had the Nitro Cold brew. Coffee was ok. Guy taking my order wasn't helpful. Shop was dirty and needed cleaning. Coffee spill stains on the counters, over filling trash cans, napkins and trash on the floor. Great view, ruined by a dirty store. Won't be coming back again.Food: 3/5

Extremely busy 4th of July weekend (can’t fault them for that they seemed to be the only coffee shop open in the area on Sunday afternoon. Left coast latte was good, nothing to write home about. No working restrooms no dogs allowed inside (always a bummer for me traveling with my dog alone. Seems like this shop caters mostly to tourists. Nice patio area.Parking: Street parking in front probably much easier on a non holiday weekend. A few spots on the residential street behind, but I felt bad encroaching on their neighborhood.

Great local coffee chain. Got honey cappuccino which was tasty. The baristas here are well trained.Food: 4/5

A disappointing espresso : sour and bitter.. I’ve tried both the single origin roast and the monkey paw in the past) espresso shots and both were very bitter/sour! I like the space and friendly staff, but I was hoping for better espresso.

Great coffee house with an amazing view. It's definitely the best coffee in San Diego and one of the best I've ever had in my life. Their teas are delicious, as well. Service is always amazing and worth the wait. The patio is charming.Food: 5/5
