Cripple Creek Steakhouse - Del Rio

I've been here before and they always have excellent food. But tonight I ordered the lamb chops, medium rare of course, and they were out of this world!!! The best lamb chops I've ever eaten. I also had the baked sweet potato and a salad. For an appetizer you've got to try the fried pickles. Very tasty!!! I only make it to Del Rio about six times a year but I always make an attempt to eat at Cripple Creek whenever I'm here.

Server was amazing and my husband was absolutely in love with the Shrimp Cocktail Appitizer but I guess well it isn't the restaurants fault but the steak was a bit too bland I salt brine my steak in the fridge overnight to get a better flavor) but it was cooked perfectly. I don't like that I had issues with it but in all I would definitely go back to visit and eat there again.

Awesome place as far as the food and service goes. They hosted us for a party of 18 and the food did not take long to come out. The drinks were good but the parking space needs works or pavement. The AC was also struggling to keep the place cool as I was sweating while I was waiting for food and while I was eating. If they could turn down the AC further or turn down the mini splits as well I would give this place a 5 star.

An amazing experience every visit. Most waiters are an explosion to talk and I can't remember their name at the moment, but she was a great person that made them jokes. I recommend the Mozzarella sticks! They are always so crispy and cheeky and yet they are never excessively oily.

This was a quirky little place with art all over the place. Very comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. We started with some poppers and they were good but not great. Wished they had been cooked longer. The star was the steak! Usually not a sirloin fan but this one was out of this world. Cooked to perfection (medium). The wood fire flavor and tenderness was spot on. I would recommend and will be returning for another steak!
