Meches Mexican - Del Valle

Meshes is a popular lunch spot for us whenever we take the 130 toll road around Austin. It's located just past the summit of America. The food is delicious, and the portions are generous. My personal favorite is the ceviche, which I believe they refer to as Chelada. My husband enjoys the shrimp brochette and the parillada mixta. The staff is also very friendly.

Just a short distance from the Circuit of the Americas, this restaurant is a fantastic spot to grab a bite after a karting session. The fajitas were expertly marinated and cooked to perfection, and the portion sizes were generous. I would highly recommend this place!

We go there for quick Mexican food and usually place our order by phone so that it’s ready in the ten minutes it takes us to arrive. It’s a family-owned restaurant, and the owner is often there to greet us and lend a hand. The setting is typical of a roadside taco spot in Texas—nothing fancy and not much to look at. However, you’d be making a mistake if you judged it by appearances!

Waiting staff is friendly. Clean restaurant. Good menu selection. They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you stop at Circuit of the Americas area.

Very good fajitas. Close to the race track. Beer was cold. Very fast service, best part. We were tired and hungry. Very good experience.
