Anthony's Pizza - DeLand

Anthony is my home to pizza. We used to go to another established area of pizza place and there was nothing wrong with their offers, good pizza. But what has been said is Anthony's just so much better. We usually get the special, but their paprika, and spinach and tomatoes are also great. Honestly, their other foods have not tried, so can not comment. Their ingredients are of high quality. The pepperoni is a bit thicker that most other pizza places. The sausage on the special is great, like the other toppings. We like their pizza and we're sure you too.

What kinda trash is this??? I ordered my favorite pizza that I've been getting there for a few years (meatball ricotta). This is a regular slice with slices of meatballs and scoops of ricotta. So angry I think I'm done with ya'll.

One of my favorite pizza places! Couldn?t be happier! Service is always great, food is always delicious and they have the best garlic knots in town! Happy wife happy life! Lol

We have been dining in and taking out from Anthony?s for years. Saturday November 13th we ate here at the request of my daughter. The dining room was not busy. It was about 5PM. We sat down quickly. The server came over quickly and took our drink order and recommended the garlic knots which we love here. When she returned with the drinks we ordered. Nothing crazy?. Baked pasta, spaghetti and a sandwich. The garlic knots literally took about 30 minutes to come out. The rest of the food took almost an hour. The pasta and spaghetti were great. The sandwich no so great. We asked the server about the meat portion on the sandwich which you can see in the pic. We were told that?s how it?s made and if we wanted an extra order of cheese steak we?d have to pay for it. My wife suggested that due to the wait time maybe we would be comped the extra order of cheese steak for the crazy long wait. The server said sorry we had a lot of to go orders. That was the end of that. I don?t get it. We weren?t asking for our bill to be comped for the ridiculous wait, just a little more meat on the sandwich. Instead of cheese steak I got cheese bread. Normally I would give Anthony?s 5 stars. The food is always great. But on this day, the customer service was not so great.

Nothing but pure grease. So disgusting. I ordered a carry out pizza and the lady there checked it before giving it to me. I opened the box when I got to my car to double check and was immediately disgusted. The fact that the employee knew it looked like this and handed it to me tells me that they don?t care about the quality of their food. I took it back and got a refund but nonetheless, I will never come back here again. Such a shame because their Italian Wedding soup is my favorite.
