Pitmaster Bbq - DeLand

This was my first time visiting the restaurant, and I had a wonderful experience. Everyone I encountered was exceptionally friendly, and the place truly had a genuine Southern vibe. The waitress was fantastic—her positive attitude and frequent check-ins made for a great dining experience. The food was delicious; both the ribs and brisket were full of flavor. The iced tea was among the best I've ever had, easily top five! The only drawback was that the house hot sauce could have been spicier, but they offered other commercial sauces that worked just fine. I’ll definitely return when I’m in the area again. Oh, and I ordered the combo for one!

The atmosphere here is fantastic, set in a charming countryside location. There's cozy outdoor seating in the back, along with a corn hole court and a designated wedding area. The menu leans heavily towards Southern cuisine, and the burnt ends brisket is a favorite among patrons. While the quality can vary—something that often happens at independent restaurants—they certainly put in the effort, especially during busy times. They also offer catering services. The artwork displayed is impressive and continues to improve; if you're a fan of horses, barns, airboats, and rural scenery, this place is perfect for you!

This restaurant is truly wonderful! The food and service were both outstanding. I went with a large group, and with all the options available, it felt like a great place to enjoy a delicious meal and have a fantastic time.

I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with the food, atmosphere, and service! Our server, Jessie Jo, was absolutely fantastic! She really knows her stuff when it comes to the menu. Since it was our first time dining there and we were unsure about what to order, Jessie suggested the combo platter for two, which included ribs, chicken, pork, and brisket along with four sides. Everything was incredibly delicious! The sweet tea was also just right. I'm already looking forward to returning and trying more items from the menu. I almost forgot to mention that Jessie recommended the sweet potato casserole with a little extra cinnamon butter on the side — it was amazing! I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. I highly recommend Pit Master BBQ!

The Asian Chili Wings are absolutely amazing! I also recommend trying the Cowboy Stew if you're in the mood for some Southern comfort food—it's delightful. The salad bar is great, and the sweet tea is fantastic!
