Sparrow's Grille - DeLand

We love this place and the staff. The new menu is wonderful. Pasta night is so great! The chefs come out and makes the food and is patient and kind with us as we make our selection. We love brunch as well. Sitting outside is great and it's covered so you're safe when it's raining as well. The staff is friendly and accommodating and so helpful even with the fact that we bring 2 crazy kids with us.

We hosted our daughter's dinner with over 60 people for the evening prior to her wedding. Sadia Taglieri was wonderful from the very first phone call all the way to being at the event to make sure everything went smoothly!! She is AMAZING to work with and we highly recommend her for any event planning/booking!! The food was great and reasonably priced. The room was decorated beautifully and our event was a huge success!! Thank you to Sadia and Sparrow's Grille. We will definitely book future events for our huge family at Sparrow's Grille, Victoria Hills Golf Club!!

All I can hear is Gordon Ramsey yelling, “shut it down!” This place is gonna get someone sick. How hard is it to cook a freaking burger? If you press on it and it’s bloody, it needs to cook a bit longer. If it is run by the golf course I guess it all makes sense.Gray “bob” cut lady needs an attitude adjustment. Only so much time in one’s life, let’s keep a nice attitude. Geeze.

Our waitress was awful. Never brought our guest's water or cup of ice, both my husband and I had to go to the bar to ask before the man behind the bar brought it. I had the Cobb salad and there was hardly any chicken, what was there was tiny dry cubes and barely any bacon. Very disappointed. My husband and our guest had prime rib and that was good. We had our 5 year old with us and were not offered anything like a crayon or her food out early. Our bill was just over $100. We will not go back.

Very pleasant to sit on back patio area and overlook the fairway. Arrived at 4:00 PM for Happy Hour. Very tranquil sitting and sipping a draft beer. A nice quiet atmosphere to enjoy cocktail hour.
