Kilwins - Delray Beach

Kilwin's is not exactly gourmet chocolate (and I don't think they represent themselves as such) but it's more of a place that caters to tourists wanting ice cream or grabbing some chocolate after dinner. I purchased an assortment of chocolate and not one item would be in the good category and even my Chocolate Apple was just okay. I don't think the chocolate is terrible but it's far from excellent or even good and I didn't find it much better than convenient store boxed chocolate. The employees were nice.

What can you say about a tradition especially from a former state of MI resident where Kilwin's originates? The fudge made the name but the ice cream and chocolate are the top sellers. I go for the dark chocolate myself. The caramel, truffle, cherry cordial and coconut cluster are so yum. Wherever I go i always find time for a Kilwin's stop!!

The best ice cream in Florida!! You definitely need to get the waffle cone which is made fresh daily. At times there is a wait but it is totally worth it !!!

Husband and I always came to this place but lately, when we come here, the employees are rude. I just think back in the day. Customer service was so much better than what it is now. Will find another ice cream place for now on, and I don't recommend this place. The owner should teach his employees to be nice to people. It's sad because we really did love this place and recommended it to everybody.
