Mussel Beach - Delray

I flew in late because of a delayed flight and my friend picked me up in West Palm, she took me here as a treat and I was so pleased! We got there for 8:45pm and they close at 9pm, we were those people! I always feel bad but had a long day of travel and needed food, good food! And they were amazing! The waitress Anna was so sweet and made us feel so at ease, we apologized for ordering so close to closing and it didn't seem like an issue at all! The mussels were amazing, we got prosciutto mussels and fra diavolo mussels with linguine and bottle of white wine and some truffle fries to start, complimentary! Best way to start my visit in the Sunshine State! Thank you staff and Anna for a great experience! We will be back!

Great food, great service, great bar.. Been going there for 8 years, never disappointed...

I was there before and no issues. This time was the worst. No ac on inside. They claimed it was on just trying to keep up with the heat outside. That was Completely untrue because every other business in the area had air conditioning on and it was very comfortable. So then I asked to sit outside instead to get fresh air and was much better. However, I orderd a dozen raw clams and they didn’t smell or taste right. One of them also had a hair in it. I was so upset I spoke to the manager or owner not sure who she was and let her know how disappointed I was. I didn’t have to pay for that or my drink. Then I left having to find another place to go.

The non-seafood entrees are EXCELLENT! I don’t like seafood but the Black Blue pasta with blackened chicken is THE BEST chicken pasta meal I’ve ever eaten. My wife had seafood and couldn’t stop raving about the taste and quality.

Amazing dining experience!! Perfect location too! Oysters were fresh delicious!! Grouper over rice Brussel sprouts was recommended by our server didnt disappoint! Shrimp tacos were on point as well! You can’t go wrong with anything from the menu we will be back soon to try other dishes! Thanks for a great meal! :
