Les Rita's Fish - Denbighshire

We relied on tripadvisor to locate a highly recommended fish and chip shop in Rhyl while traveling along the North Coast of Wales. We discovered parking for disabled individuals nearby, though it was the first time on our trip that we had to pay with a blue badge. The restaurant offered exactly what we were looking for: affordable fish and chips in a sit-down setting. We were even able to take home the leftover chips that we couldn't finish.

I used to frequent this restaurant often, but recently I've noticed that the portions have shrunk while the prices have increased. It seems like prices will continue to rise, but you are getting less food for your money now. We ordered adult meals, but they were more like kid-sized portions. We were hungry again soon after. The service was fast and the meals came out quickly. However, if you're really hungry, you may want to consider dining elsewhere in the future to get more value for your money.

My partner and I had never been to Rhyl before, but we had heard great things about the restaurants there. I had chosen this particular restaurant as a must-visit. When we arrived, we were asked to wait to be seated, which was fine. However, we would have preferred to choose our own table if given the option. We were greeted quickly and asked what we wanted to order. I decided to go for the small burgers and chips, but was charged extra for it. When I asked for some extra red sauce, the server I spoke with was very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, but the customer service could use some improvement.

The personal was not rude, but very unbutted and quite unfriendly. portion size just about ok, fish pretty pretty. chips greasy and underwhelming. although salt and vinegar requested, could not taste or see any evidence, so they do not think it was added. really disappointing.
