Aunties' Ice Cream Parlor - Dennis

The website claims that they are open Thursday through Monday year-round, but they are not. We drove almost 30 minutes, thinking it was one of the only ice cream shops open on a Sunday, only to find that they were closed.

I'm sorry to report that it appears this restaurant is up for sale and is likely going out of business. I just dropped by and saw the owners cleaning out the place.

The ice cream at this Cape Cod restaurant is truly exceptional. The staff is fantastic and the owners are wonderful. I visit this place every week.

The flavors were worth facing lactose intolerance for. I enjoyed the milkshakes and ice creams at this place!

I absolutely love homemade ice cream and no vacation is complete without stopping for ice cream at least once. I ordered the salted caramel truffle and chocolate peanut butter in a waffle cone and my husband got the rum raisin in a waffle cone. The waffle cones were not good at all. I didn't like the chips in the salted caramel. Chocolate peanut butter was much better than the salted caramel. Rum raisin was just okay. Overall, was disappointed with our experience here as everything was just okay.
