Catrachos - Denton

Catrachos has amazing Honduran food! Staff was very accommodating to an ignorant white boy trying to figure out what I wanted to eat.My *only* complaint is that there aren't any meal descriptions written down. There are pictures and they'll tell you what's in it, but it'd be nice to have a menu so I don't feel so bothersome asking the staff 20 questions lol.

Some of the worst customer service experiences and the worst Pupusas I've ever eaten. I ordered two Pupusas scrambled with pork rinds and cheese, when the owner's chubby cousin served them to me, I told him that it was too white to go with pork rinds, he told me to open it and realize with his disgust I showed it to him and asked him if he was looking at pork rinds because I He was only looking at the cheese, his response was try it if you taste it and he went to the kitchen and never came back, he didn't help me either, what a cutie I ordered the pork tamale, worse point, it was very unpleasant to say that I will never return or recommend this restaurant is not enough.Not the right place to order Pupusas from, or Salvadorean food for that matter. The service is not any better either.

Is this restaurant still open? I've been trying to place an order for 120 on Saturdays, but they haven't replied to me lately.

The food is outstanding, with the chicken tamales and beef soup being the highlights. However, the cashier who takes orders could benefit from having a friendlier demeanor and a smile. Overall, it's a wonderful spot for a great lunch!

I ordered a seafood broth with coconut, but it tasted more like plain water; there was no real coconut flavor. Everything in the dish was undercooked. The person making the coconut broth clearly lacks experience, as the dish fell short and the coconut wasn't roasted properly.
